Up Next: Our Royal Day Out

This week I had some amazing -- and very unexpected -- news:

Time Traveler Tours is one of 42 startups to be selected to participate in the prestigious Pitch@Palace challenge!

Established only three years ago by The Duke of York (that's Prince Andrew, Charles's younger brother), Pitch@Palace has already helped over 247 businesses grow, with some enjoying huge global success. It offers us the chance to get the TTT&T concept in front of an audience of global influencers who could be in a position to help catapult us to the next level.

Honestly, I'm not really sure how it happened (or what to wear to the event), but I'm totally going to go for it...

It's been a wild week here at TTT HQ London, and there's still lots to do. So this week's communication will be brief and chock full of news...

Kiri, Jane, James, Mark, and I have been full-on, preparing for next Wednesday's Pitch@Palace Boot Camp at the University of Nottingham:

  • We met with our two mentors, Richard Eckely of CrowdCube and James Codling of VentureFounders, who were both enormously encouraging about the TTT&T concept and potential.

  • We managed to streamline our initial 10-minute pitch to 3.5 minutes -- only 30 seconds to go. That's right! A second over 3 minutes and HRH's royal buglers will blow us off the stage.

  • We built the one and only (:-0) visual we're allowed to illustrate the 3-minute pitch. And we think it came out great (see above).

Please think of us on Wednesday, 15 March. Light candles, say prayers, send good luck vibes -- whatever you do -- that we convince the judges to advance Time Traveler Tours to pitch at St. James Palace on 25 April before the Duke of York, investors, potential partners, and possibly even the Queen!

Cheers!
Sarah
